sula adulta (sula bassana)

DATA, ISO-7D 400-F/8-EV -0.67-1/4000-FOCALE 300 FREEHAND
----------- -------------------------------------------------- -----------------
the photo that the staff will propose this week depicts a Northern Gannets (Morus bassanus), a seabird whose range is localized strictly in the Atlantic but can go up north to North Africa.
One of its main features is the way to prey. The gannets are dropped from considerable heights, diving on prey which hold under the sea surface and in doing so take the shape of the arrow that we see in the shot.
The author of the picture, our user Andrea22, has captured perfectly the very moment when Sula is about to dive to catch prey.
